REPTON has the best piece of form with a fifth to the smart War Decree in the Vintage Stakes at Goodwood. He should have the measure of the others with a mark including Apex King, who beat Monticello and Bahamas when winning a Listed contest at Ascot. Majoris has won a handicap but Van Der Decken’s earlier fifth in the Coventry looks stronger form. Of those stepping up in class, the unbeaten South Seas has some fancy entries and impressive Beverley winner Total Star is in the Royal Lodge. Seniority made a winning start at Newmarket and is entered in the Dewhurst along with another winning debutant in Eqtiraan.
