Verdict

The last two winners of this Listed contest have gone on to Group 1 success and Chindit ran well in the Lockinge back in May. He’s penalised for a recent Group 3 win at Haydock and Raadobarg is weighted to reverse earlier running but the progressive KNIGHT (NAP) makes most appeal. The latter went close in the Group 2 Celebration Mile at Goodwood last month and first-time cheekpieces may bring further improvement. Sir Busker returns to action with a shout on these terms while Eydon is interesting on his reappearance having switched yards since finishing fourth in last year’s 2000 Guineas for Roger Varian. The latter sent out last year’s winner of this and Lord Of Biscay has more scope than the likes of Breege and Novus.
