Steady Major won a couple of minor races on the all-weather before a moderate run at Salisbury and is in first-time blinkers. Strong Steps was beaten a short-head at Chelmsford on his debut and scored by that same margin back there last month. This is much tougher with his big weight. Sugar Boy won over 7f at Wolverhampton but couldn't go the pace over the same trip at Lingfield while Music And Dance is having her first start in a handicap and over this trip though being by Galileo she should be suited. CRITICAL RISK had shown plenty of promise in his first season and reappeared with a convincing victory at Doncaster for which a 6lb penalty doesn't look enough to prevent a quick double.
