      Verdict

TRIPARTITE went close again at Newbury last time having won at Doncaster before that. He’s upped a further 2lb but Jeremy Gask’s charge still makes more appeal than last month’s Brighton winner False Id. The latter looks the main threat as the rest are all struggling for form at present including The Big Lad, who rattled-up a hat-trick on the all-weather at the turn of the year. Heart of An Angel may improve now handicapping for the first time.
