Verdict

EMIRATES SPORTS looks a nice sort and can continue to progress; he may have most to fear from Thousand Miles and Glen Molly. A 3lb rise for a narrow win at Kempton shouldn't unduly overburden the bin Suroor runner and connections will be hopeful that there's plenty more to come from this half-brother to Plea Bargain. He only won on the nod and still looks to be learning the game so that has to be a concern in a stronger race but he'll, hopefully, have come on again. Thousand Miles bounced back to form with a sound run at Newmarket on ground that may have been a shade fast and that bodes well for his chances. Star Links has been running consistently but has received no respite from the assessor as a result whilst Crime Writer will need to pull out more than he did at Epsom in a weaker race. There could be more to come from Dukes Art now that the penny has dropped whilst Broad Cairn is better than he showed last time and Glen Molly has the ability to win from her current perch when things drop right. She may not get the run of this race though which could be dominated by Emirates Sports.
