Verdict

A disappointing turnout for a decent prize and STRICTLY should be able to see off Sharpened Edge and Golden Destiny. It's not too often that you will see Sir Michael Stoute training sprinters and while the daughter of Falbrav is not without quirks, if she persists in hanging to the right, connections couldn't have found a better track to utilise these leanings at. Sharpened Edge bids for the prize from the resurgent Bryn Palling stable. She looked smart when disposing of Cawdor at this track earlier in the season though has disappointed somewhat since. Golden Destiny is tried in first time cheekpieces. As a daughter of Captain Rio, any overnight rain would prove helpful. Cecily looked to have had many chances during the winter though confounded expectations by taking a race at Wolverhampton. The assessor has had plenty of chance to check his sums. The unfashionably bred Chris's Jem has been absent for some time after obliging in a weak Folkestone maiden. Strictly is the class act and is hard to oppose in this company.
