Verdict

Three-year-olds have won the last two renewals and the younger generation are well represented here. Jacob Cats will come in for support after his victory over the C&D in May and his overall form gives him an obvious chance of following-up from just 5lb higher. Stablemate Dynamic Duo has run a little better than his form figures suggest and this could prove his optimum trip and going while Henry Clay didn't enjoy soft ground at Epsom two weeks ago after his Polytrack victory and will have benefited from the run, his first since January. BURKE'S ROCK looked one to follow after she followed her victory in a Lingfield maiden by taking a Newmarket handicap but she then failed to stay when sent over 1m2f at Redcar and, back over her best trip, she can return to winning ways. Jamie Spencer was on board when Postcript won at Haydock and takes over from an apprentice after Ian Williams' charge was beaten on a return visit.
