      Verdict

      A winner at Bath last month, Confils could only manage second off today’s higher mark at the same track last time. LADY MASCARA (NAP) is preferred as she missed out by only a neck over today’s trip at Nottingham on her handicap debut and James Fanshawe’s filly is taken to go one better with further progress likely. Amorously has won over a mile but earlier attempts at 1m2f leave her with something to prove while Alandalos and Daryana step up in distance as both go handicapping for the first time.
