In depth
Verdict
On these terms, Copeland should have little difficulty landing this valuable prize. The selection, out of luck since landing the Tote gold trophy, would be giving weight away all round if this was a handicap. Stablemate Rodock, could prove to be his main danger. At his best in small fields, this enigmatic character may find this ground faster than ideal. Impek, a talented individual, is an under achiever, and has a lot to find at the weights. Impressive Aintree scorer, Intersky Falcon, is open to any amount of improvement, but it will be a surprise if he can cope with these on these terms. The four-year-old Vol Solitaire, had a hard race at Ayr when touched off in the Scottish champion hurdle, and beat Copeland in the Welsh equivalent by a neck and is now 23lb worse off.
