Verdict
DUBAI CREST is selected to see off Make Amends and Mannlichen. Amanda Perrett's gelding has been given a few tough tasks by the handicapper but despite running well on ground that would not have suited last time out, he has seen fit to drop the horse by a further 2lbs and he should be capable of getting competitive tonight. Make Amends has been in good nick and having won at Newbury over a similar trip, it would be no surprise to see him a warm order on this occasion. Mannlichen has ability though is difficult to catch right. The booking of Frankie Dettori is a positive though the headgear isn't necessarily. Addwaitya quickly returns to the races after a disappointing run at Chepstow. Laudatory was fourth off this mark at Chester and is worth another try at this trip. Pat Chamings horses have run into a number of places of late so do not dismiss the chances of Uncle Fred. Franco Is My Name managed a quickfire treble on the artificial surfaces but is still a maiden on the turf. Dubai Crest is the selection in a notably trappy affair.
