Verdict

Richard Hannon has won this four times in the last six years and relies on Steventon Star, who is likely to start a short-priced favourite after victories at Windsor and York. He'll take some beating but Richard Fahey, who saddled the close runner-up on the Knavesmire, should know how he stands with the winner and has impressive Newcastle winner EASTERN IMPACT entered and he's taken to remain unbeaten. Zalzilah made all and stormed clear at Beverley and has a really smart pedigree but the main threat may emerge in the shape of the filly Rizeena, a very impressive winner at Ascot and certain to be suited by this stiff track.
