        Verdict

        Unbeaten in all 11 starts including five outings at Santa Anita, SONGBIRD is clearly the one to beat. The Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies winner in 2015 won her seventh Grade 1 contest with her latest romp at Parx though this is the first time Jerry Hollendorfer’s filly has taken on older horses and it’s a field packed with other Grade 1 winners. That includes dual Breeders’ Cup winner, Beholder, though the latter has found 2015 champion three-year-old filly and last year’s runner-up Stellar Wind too good the last twice they’ve met. John Sadler’s filly can confirm running with last year’s third and subsequent Grade 1 winner Curalina, who has been mixing it with Forever Unbridled and I'm a Chatterbox, both winners at the highest level in their own right. There is little to choose between that trio while the form of Corona Del Inca’s Grade 1 win in Argentina has worked out well but Land Over Sea has found Songbird too good on no less than six occasions now.
