In depth

Verdict

No European interest but CONNIE AND MICHAEL went into many notebooks stateside and the Kenny McPeek inmate can take the measure of Blind Luck and She Be Wild. The selection dotted up completely unchallenged in a blistering onslaught at Keeneland. Blind Luck is likely to be popular with the locals having obliged in the Oak Tree Stakes. She Be Wild needs to reverse form with Negligee on their recent meeting at Keeneland. She had impressed many when bolting up in a Grade 3 at Arlington in September. Devil May Care was as surprisingly large price when landing the Frizette Stakes on the dirt at Belmont Park. Beautician is talented yet frustrating. Biofuel made use of all the weight allowances to take the Marazine Stakes at Woodbine. This is a huge leap in class though visually that performance suggested her to be on the upgrade. The Motion barn are known for successfully tilting at prizes so Saratoga victor, Zilva, is one to note at longer odds. She won a fair contest at Saratoga before disappointing last time out. The market will tell us plenty about these ladies and while she lacks big-race experience, Connie And Michael may have the raw ability to overcome that handicap.
