        Verdict

        Bushranger looks to have been drawn out of this and there have to be doubts over the trip too. Square Eddie, formerly with John Best, is favourite and clearly a leading player but GALLANT SON could just be underrated. He has won four straight races at Emerald Downs and was particularly impressive in the Gottstein Futurity Stakes last time. Street Hero and Midshipman represent the Norfolk form and are respected.
