Verdict

Forecast is having a first run over hurdles in more than two years and may be too high in the weights. After three runs in staying races on the Flat, STONIFIC will be happy to be facing a set of hurdles again. He won a valuable handicap at Market Rasen in July, when an out-of-form Snookered was well beaten, and is preferred here to the Donald McCain pair Dear Sire and Constancio, though the latter has been hinting at a revival.
