In depth

Verdict

Ever So Much was a hot favourite for a handicap at Southwell yesterday and would have a penalty to carry here if successful. The jumping of El Toreros left a bit to be desired at Worcester but he kept on after the last and should know more here. LORD BRENDY has always looked like a chaser and was conceding 7lb to Degooch when beaten under five lengths by that one over timber at Carlisle in May. The tables are turned now and Bob Johnson's gelding can come out best today after a break. Travis County has been woefully out of form for a while.
