      Verdict

      Aficionado was the best of these on the Flat but finished tailed off on his hurdling debut at Cartmel. He might improve for the experience but the filly SAKHEES ROMANCE could have too much speed for him here as long as the ground stays on the fast side of good. She hinted at ability up to a mile on the level and this tight track may help her get home. Another debutant, Tinctoria, may do best of the rest.
