Verdict

Useful pointer Jack Devine took a step forward from his debut under Rules here when second at Catterick but he looks to be crying out for a step up to 3m. HENRY’S JOY didn’t win between the flags but was placed twice and has only found one too good in two of his three starts under Rules. The first two pulled well clear of the others over 2m4f here last time and Donald McCain’s charge can finally open his account. Jockey bookings suggest Dig A Bit Deeper is preferred to stablemate Randy Pike.
