In depth

Verdict

We like the look of EYE CANDY who is taken to get the better of Insignia and Barrio. The selection has got some decent form in Ireland and he has to be high on the shortlist now that he is dropped into selling grade. This will not take much winning and this 8-year-old from the Anthony Mullins yard has conditions to suit and he should take all the beating. Insignia ran well under a penalty last time out in this grade at Southwell and a reproduction of that effort should see him competitive. Barrio has relatively few miles on the clock but he has to even make the frame on his seven starts so far over hurdles. Tickateal has got course and distance winning form and he could go well at a price, but for the winner we are happy to stick with Eye Candy.
