In depth

Verdict

Taste The Fear beat Tara Mill by six lengths at Hexham last month but there shouldn’t be much between the pair on the revised terms. BELLANEY GEM was well supported for a novices’ handicap at Kelso last time and was only beaten a head. She was also second over this shorter trip at Punchestown in the autumn and can finally get her head in front where it matters. Shentri won over fences in his native France but the four-year-old has disappointed in two starts over hurdles for new connections.
