    Verdict

METEORITE has improved steadily and was leading at this trip when tackling an extra 3f at Doncaster. He was only headed at the last and this looks no tougher. Nefyn Point was well beaten at Bangor last time but won around here in December and would have an obvious chance if that last effort was ignored. Red Ochre, who has been chasing, has never won a race in 16 starts and his best form has come on quicker ground and though Minella Fiveo has dropped to a winnable mark it's a long time since he showed any real sign of form.
