Verdict

A trappy contest gets proceedings underway and as usual in these novice events the market will be very informative but the principals look to be Tension Point, Primus and Green Day Packer and the vote is given to Tension Point. The selection won well last time out when beating Callisto Moon despite being nearly brought down at the first flight. Granted he has a penalty for that win but he again has conditions to suit and he looks the one to be on. Primus hails from a shrewd German yard and he will not have to be anything special to take a hand in the finish. Green Day Packer hails from a yard that has a good record in these events and he was a fair sixth on his debut behind Soliya but on a line through Calisto Moon he has a little to find with the selection. Mr Chocolate Drop has won at up to seven furlongs on the flat and would have place claims if he stays but that is a big if. The market may well tell all here but Tension Point sets a fair standard and he gets our vote.
