Verdict

ELLISTRIN BELLE, who won this a year ago, showed nothing in three subsequent starts but this is a poor contest and it would be no surprise to see her bounce back and complete the double. Nellie The Elegant is only four and has shown a bit more promise in her last couple of starts but Dalby Spook, who won on the Flat at Carlisle in August, has yet to reach a place in six starts over timber. Moon Over Rio has been well beaten in all three starts over hurdles and Hatton Springs was beaten a distance at Kelso on Saturday.
