Scorpions Sting was second here in March but was then well beaten at Towcester and doesn't appear totally reliable. First Of Never only found Baraboy too good here last week but will be having his 22nd career start today and is still seeking a first success. He is also racing from out of the handicap while Stanley Bridge is having his first run since before Christmas. Bob's Legend's only previous win came in a seller and there wouldn't have been much between that one and Mad For Road here last time had the latter not fallen at the last. AMTIRED hasn't won over hurdles since 2011 and gets little respite from the handicapper. But the grey was fancied on the Fibresand last month and, as that run should have blown away a few cobwebs, could be the one to be on today.
