Verdict

Christmas In Usa is 2lb lower than when landing a gamble in this 12 months ago so is definitely worth a market check. Newton Abbot winner Plenty Of Butty probably came up against an improver at Plumpton next time and shouldn’t be far away again but hasn’t handled give in the ground in the past. Red Ochre is 0-19 but was second at Hexham last time and is now fitted with cheekpieces. HOT GOSSIP’s jumping was much improved in a mares’ handicap here last week and she could defy a penalty if she has truly turned the corner.
