Verdict
Bellaney Gem and TWOSHOTSOFTEQUILA are both course winners. The latter made his fencing bow over 2m at Hexham and predictably got outpaced. He’ll be far happier over today’s trip and has a bit of scope. Son Of The Somme has placed in both starts so far over the larger obstacles and should be thereabouts again and Betty Baloo also looks a threat given she didn’t do a lot wrong when second at Market Rasen and will improve for the experience.
