Verdict
Emma Beag, who had shown some potential in Ireland, was beaten a long way when runner-up at Catterick though probably found the 3m1f stretching her stamina. Modulus completed a hat-trick at this time a year ago including the novices' handicap at this meeting. He's been badly out of form subsequently but is now 3lb lower than his last winning mark. THE JAM MAN has suddenly sprouted wings. He landed a gamble at Catterick last Wednesday before hacking up under a penalty at Ayr on Saturday. He has a double penalty to cope with but Maxine O'Sullivan can claim her 7lb again and a hat-trick looks on the cards. Its Pandorama comfortably landed a maiden at Carlisle last summer and will have found 2m much too short on his comeback at Southwell earlier this month.
