        Verdict

        Alright Marlene won over course and distance on New Year’s Day. She is 5lb higher but Alex Edwards claims back 3lb of that. LIME DROP has gone up 21lb since her winning run began but her yard continues in fine form and she’ll be thereabouts again if handling this softer ground. Gine Sacre placed on soft going over fences in France but Durragh will need to settle better if she is to get her head in front.
