In depth

Verdict

Tomngerry had an alternative engagement yesterday at Catterick, which rather complicates matters as last month's course and distance winner is the clear form pick. He'll probably win if turning up but John Quinn may have found an easy opportunity for his Kalanisi newcomer THISONETIME, who gets the nod in the top weight's likely absence. Paddling weakened quickly at Catterick last month but should know more today.
