Verdict
QUATRE HUIT is our pick with Canada Street and Smugglers Bay the other noteworthy performers. The six-year-old missed an engagement at Plumpton on Monday but had previously won a race in the provinces for previous connections under front running tactics. The market will tell us what to anticipate this afternoon. Canada Street has proved a disappointment having promised so much earlier in his career. He is well enough treated though seems not to be completely in love with the idea of winning. Smugglers Bay has ran creditably at the track in the past and retains the cheekpieces that have accompanied his most recent runs. I'm Your Man is a course specialist of some vintage whilst front-running Jeringa can be forgiven for just needing his first outing for almost a year. Quatre Huit gets the call in a race where plenty of the locals have had many chances to impress.
