Verdict
TROOBLUE recorded a first victory over fences here 10 days ago, showing more resolution that the odds-on Castletown. He drops down a grade for this an, only 5lb higher, should win again. Roxyfet seeks a sixth course win but he ran a shocker here on Boxing Day when favourite and has become hard to predict. Steel City hasn’t run over fences in more than four years but shaped nicely last time over hurdles and Jokers And Rogues was third at Kelso following a lengthy absence. Domestic Diva has only managed one place in 12 races between the flags and under Rules but that was last time on her chasing bow at Catterick.
