Verdict

VIENS CHERCHER (NAP) jumped like an old hand when beating two rivals at Market Rasen. The form may be suspect but he races off a lower mark here than over hurdles and could give these the slip is allowed an easy lead. Waiting Patiently has always been regarded as a chasing type so it was a bonus when he won over hurdles here in January. Boss Des Mottes has already had four runs over fences so is looking a little exposed and all of the others have an absence to overcome, though Virnon looks just the type for a race like this.
