Verdict

Double Espresso was the best of these over hurdles and should find this a great deal easier than when taking on Bold Sir Brian at Musselburgh last month. His jumping needs to improve, however, and he faces a consistent sort here in WILLIE HALL who would go very close if replicating the form of his third at Kelso in December over this longer trip. The latter can win for the first time in a year as Barr Head was well beaten when third over C&D 10 days ago and Grand Art is jumping fences for the first time and has been out of form over timber. Seaofemotion was pulled up on his debut under Rules.
