In depth

Verdict

Sea Cove ran well last time and she can get her head in front here at the main expense of Jimmys Duky and Barney. The selection chased home Southern Bazaar at Market Rasen last time and a reproduction of that effort might just be good enough to see her home today. She has the ground in her favour and Tony Dobbin in the plate and she sets the standard for the rest. Jimmys Duky is another that went close last time out when chasing home Barton Sun at Newcastle. However, that was on soft ground and he will not be quite as at home on this quicker ground. Barney is a course and distance winner and he ran well enough here last time to suggest that he is up to claiming some place money today. Delaware Trail is another with each-way claims but Sea Cove has plenty in her favour and gets the vote.
