    Verdict

    BHALTAIR never looked like picking up the leaders when favourite at Southwell earlier this month but hasn't much to beat here and can return to winning ways. Donald McCain's five-year-old finished third at Cartmel last month when Tower was pulled up and Chris Grant's charge has a bit to prove now. The other pair return from a break and have shown little to date.
