In depth

Verdict

Tim Pat had a favourite’s chance bidding for a hat-trick at Haydock yesterday and would carry a penalty in this if successful. GUETAPAN COLLONGES was less than fluent at Market Rasen last time but still managed to complete a double on only his fourth start over fences and further progress is expected as he gains more experience. Brother Pat remains 11lb higher than when scoring over track and trip in November and has fallen twice since then.
