In depth

Verdict

Minella Theatre stays well but only won a seller at Catterick in February. Gulf Punch hasn't shown much in a couple of recent runs and Little Carmela has also lost her way lately while the jury is out on Monty's Revenge. Wheyaye, Andy Vic and Solis are all generally worth opposing and it's a while since veteran ONIZ TIPTOES got his head in front. But John Wainwright's 12-year-old loves to hear his hooves rattle and four of his nine career victories have come here, the last two over track and trip. He's been running well enough lately to suggest he can make the most of his low weight.
