In depth
Verdict
Gold Ingot will probably need to drop a few more pounds to get back to winning ways but Mille Nautique hinted at a revival when second at Stratford, though that form hasn't worked out. Bennachie was second on his only previous try over fences at Bangor in May and Val D'arc won for the first time in this country at Perth last month and may still be on a decent mark. COOPER'S FRIEND (NAP) is gradually improving over fences and holds Gold Ingot on Market Rasen running – it may be his turn today.
