In depth

Verdict

Micky Hammond has three in this but none make much appeal. Captain Mowbray has claims, however, as he was in front when falling at the last over a shorter trip here recently. Ever So Much has a chance on past form but Brother Scott remains in the handicapper's grip. Chain Of Beacons has his ground on his reappearance but was beaten twice off a lower mark when last seen in April. AMUSE ME has a terrific strike rate on this track and an in-form claimer taking of 7lb. Jimmy Moffatt's grey could make his presence felt again.
