Verdict
Baccalaureate is proving hard to place these days and makes little appeal at the head of the weights whereas DANBY'S LEGEND (NAP) looks a much more likely sort at the other end of the handicap. An unlucky faller at Southwell on his penultimate start, he swiftly made amends returned to the Nottinghamshire track and remains nicely treated here despite a 7lb rise for that cosy victory. With only three runs over fences to date, there should be more to come. Toledo Gold and Hopeand are respected, as is the consistent Civil Unrest if taking up this engagement after running at Cartmel on Monday.
