Verdict

Late Date has won three times from four previous starts over course and distance. Micky Hammond’s stayer is almost certain to be in the shake-up again but KINGS ECLIPSE also goes well around here and was in good form around this time last year. He had a pipe-opener over hurdles last month and could be ready to resume winning ways. Billy Bronco should have benefited from last month’s run at Stratford but Exit To Where will have stamina to prove. Another Emotion never threatened at Chepstow but should be capable of better.
