Verdict
Dunowen Point makes a belated reappearance having previously exhibited promise as a chaser but, while he gets in off a favourable mark over hurdles, it will be no easy task to oblige for him to oblige in this race off top weight. The Thirsty Bricky had a rare off day last time so WALSER looks the one to be with on this occasion. The five-year-old makes his handicap debut having finished second to a couple of useful sorts in novice company and, though he's yet to experience this going, his breeding suggests that there is a fair chance he'll be able to cope with it. River Dragon improved during the Flat season and he wasn't too far away recently at Catterick while Green Wizard put up a career-best under positive tactics at Wetherby and Jonathan England's 7lb claim is far from a hindrance under today's testing conditions.
