Verdict

Kilfinichen Bay is only 4lb higher than when scoring at Cartmel in the summer and has been placed in three of four starts since but his yard is not in the best of form. DICK DARSIE is making his seasonal reappearance but was second over course and distance around this time last year and then won at Wetherby. Sue Smith’s charge gets the nod receiving plenty of weight from Captain Mowbray. Royal Salute has a bit to prove at present.
