Verdict
This bumper looks a good opportunity for ROSES to make it two wins from two starts at the expense of Northern Cross and Cuigny. The selection took a debut success in a bumper for amateur riders and as a result goes unpenalised here. Reunited with his top amateur pilot again she has already proven her talent and should take the beating again. Northern Cross improved on a solid debut to run well last time out and although looking a little one paced late on he should improve again on ground that looks like it suits. Cuigny has the difficult task of trying to win a bumper under a penalty thanks to a one length success in this race last year; it is also a little concerning we haven¿t seen this one since. Steel Giant held his form without really improving last time out but he may take a liking to a sounded surface under hoof and while a market check is advised with so many unexposed types we still like the look of Roses.
