A rather low-key start to proceedings so it would be no surprise to see Cartmel scorer Flying Doctor go close again, despite his penalty, though he's undoubtedly better with some give in the ground. It's a while since WORD OF WARNING showed his best form but he looks well treated now as a result and will thrive on the fast going, which is more than you can say about the majority of his rivals. With Lucy Alexander doing the steering, Martin Todhunter's eight-year-old gets the nod. Momkinzain would have a chance if negotiating the obstacles while Dazzling Rita can't be ignored despite returning from a break.
