In depth

Verdict

Troodos Jet is considered for a rider who has a profitable record for the yard but despite a liking for this venue he's yet to win races back-to-back and looks worth taking on with STOLEN LIGHT. Brian Hughes retains the ride aboard this nine-year-old who was last seen winning over further here. He's 7lbs higher now and drops back in trip but providing positive tactics are once again adopted he could prove hard to pass if jumping well. Tranos remains a maiden over fences and rather plugged on at Cartmel having looked beaten so this shorter trip is likely to prove an insufficient test so the mare Penny Queen may prove best of the rest. She's unexposed and tried in cheek-pieces ahead of her debut over the larger obstacles and has been found a winnable introduction as a few of these arrive out of sorts.
