Verdict
Abricot De L'Oasis has now won both starts over fences after landing a novices' handicap at Carlisle to add to last year's win in France. With further progress expected, Donald McCain's charge is expected to push CLASSINAGLASS close. The latter just managed to hold off the challenge of Pistol Basc to score at Catterick last month and is only 4lb higher. Auld Thunder won here in February but has failed to figure in a couple of subsequent outings while Solway Dornal remains 14lb higher than his win at Perth in September. Claragh Native also won at Perth in the same month but that was only his second success in 32 starts over fences.
