Verdict
My Ace, Faddad, Double Helix and Sir Homo look to be the principles and the confident nomination is given to My Ace. The selection was a good second behind Compton Eagle in similar grade last time and with conditions to suit he will be hard to beat. Faddad rates the main danger on his fourth behind Premier Marble but he has since disappointed and as a consequence he can't be backed with any confidence. Double Helix showed improved form when dropped to this grade for the first time when fourth behind Princess Aimee but he was doing all his best work at the finish on that occasion and the drop in trip is not sure to suit. Sir Homo has the ability to go close but has not shown any form for over a year so he is passed over on this occasion and we will stick with My Ace as the one they all have to beat.
