        Verdict

        With local hope Able One reported to have suffered a slight setback, this can provide PACO BOY with a successful swansong to a remarkable career. Richard Hannon's five-year-old has seen the back of the brilliant Goldikova three times this year but that's no disgrace and given he can boast a couple of Group 1 victories he's done enough to warrant the vote. Thumbs Up and Able One are old rivals and there's very little between the pair which suggests the former is good value each-way at his current odds. Sun Chariot heroine Sahpresa was a very close fourth behind A Shin Forward in the Grade 1 Mile Championship at Kyoto last month and can take her revenge with the winner racing outside of Japan for the first time.
