Verdict
Earls Quarter won a Roscommon bumper in August and there was something amiss when he pulled up next time. He appeared to find 2m3f stretching his stamina on his return at Cork last month but will have come on for the run and is sure to have been well schooled. Esporao landed a Perth bumper a year ago and came close to doubling his winning tally when just failing to match strides with Khayar at Ballinrobe last month. He looks certain to be involved at the business end but ROSS BAY looks the one to be on. Christy Roche' mare won a bumper here last August and has been at short prices on each of her subsequent starts without following up. She made a mistake at the last at Ballinrobe on her latest start which didn't help matters and her allowance can help see her home here. Rocky's Pride may do best of the remainder.
